Edwin Klebs (1834–1913) was a German pathologist. He was an assistant of Rudolf Virchow at the Pathological Institute in Berlin from 1861 until 1866. He is mainly known for his work on infectious diseases. The bacterial genus Klebsiella is named in honor of his work.
