Kyrenia District is one of the six districts of Cyprus. Its main town is Kyrenia. It is the smallest of Cyprus' districts, and has been occupied by the Turkish army since 1974.
A district administration in "exile" exists on the southern Greek-Cypriot controlled part of the island.
