Michael Monroe (Matti Fagerholm, born on June 17, 1960 in Helsinki -) is a Finnish rock musician. He is best known as the singer for the glam rock band Hanoi Rocks. His characteristics are bleached blonde hair, feminine make-up and glamorous fashion.

Hanoi Rocks's biggest hits are Tragedy, Up Around the Bend (a CCR cover version), Don't You Ever Leave Me, Million Miles Away and People Like Me.
He did a duet with Axl Rose in 1989 on his solo album. The name of the song is "Dead, Jail Or Rock'n'Roll".
He also played saxophone and harmonica on the Guns N' Roses song Bad Obsession from the Use Your Illusion I album and sang on the cover version of The Dead Boys song Ain't It Fun from the album The Spaghetti Incident?.
