Princess Alexia of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau (Alexia Juliana Marcella Laurentien prinses der Nederlanden, prinses van Oranje-Nassau) (born June 26, 2005), is the second daughter of Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, the Prince of Orange, the heir apparent to the throne of the Netherlands and Princess Máxima of the Netherlands, his spouse.

By Royal Decree of 25 January 2002, nr. 41 is determined that all children of Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands will bear the title of Prince (Princess) of the Netherlands and Prince (Princess) of Orange-Nassau.

Princess Alexia is third in line to the Dutch throne, behind her father and elder sister, Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands.

Birth

Princess Alexia was born at 14:41 in the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague. She was 50 centimeters (19.7 inches) long and weighed 3440 grams (7 pounds 8 ounces.)

Her baptism took place on November 19, 2005 in The Hague. The godparents to Princess Alexia are: Princess Mathilde, Duchess of Brabant; Alexandra jonkvrouwe Jankovich de Jeszenice; Prince Johan-Friso of Orange-Nassau; Juan Zorreguieta and Frans Ferdinand, Jonkheer de Beaufort.
